3 girls creative: vintage pop
Posted on February 20, 2012 by Jen Basford
3 girls creative is what lets us explore new and interesting facets of photography. whether it is for a client or for ourselves, for play or for work, it allows us to push ourselves to do something completely new and out of the ordinary from our norm. this is a way we integrate something creative and fresh into our studio, into our way of thinking, and into what drives us. sometimes it is cooler and greater than we imagined. sometimes it isn’t. either way we’ve pushed ourselves to do something that fascinates and draws you in.
our model for this session was avery – her look is so creative and unique that it was the basis for our inspiration. we wanted a lot of color on her face to give the vintage look some ‘pop’ as well as create some dramatic expressions in some of her images. we were also looking for a very 70s fashion feel towards the end, which avery was PER-FECT for. complete – and total – LOVE.
