friday afternoon at spa (senior portrait artists) post event we went up to the top of the mountain just outside of palm springs. the palm springs aerial tramway takes you from the base at chino canyon to the snow-capped peak of mt. san jacinto, which is 10,834 ft high. it’s a fascinating ride to the top where the temperature is typically about 30 degrees cooler than where you started. we spent the morning shooting in the 70s, only to head to the top of the mountain where we were greeted by a mini blizzard. 
for the second part of our shoot at the ACE hotel, i got to play with two of my favorite people – brian and anna (the models). their looks really draw you in, as do their personalities.
after the official spa event concluded this year at the riviera in palm springs, california, it was time for the spa post event to start. this was the part of the week that was focused on shooting – pushing your creative edge, finding new light, finding and using new locations, and most of all not getting caught!!
